Installation technique
Important: For a proper installation, bulk installers should follow installation methods used by kit installers.
Once you’ve cleaned your installation service, you are ready to begin the film application when installing a kit, roll the film with the adhesive side facing in.
Then, spray the vehicle with your slip solution.
Next, roll your pattern on your vehicle, spraying the exposed adhesive as you remove the liner, ensuring the pattern does not stick to itself.
Then, spray slip solution beneath the film as you alight it into the proper position.
It is always a good idea to spray fingertips with your slip solution to avoid imprinting into the adhesive.
Use the tack solution to lock the film down to either side of the vehicle and squeegee from the closest curve towards the outer edge. You will then stretch the film to the opposite outer edge and use tacks solution to lock the film down. Finish the installation by using a squeegee across the middle portion of the vehicle, using overlapping strokes.
